Review on πŸ”Œ ZAGG Folio Case with Wireless Backlit Keyboard for Apple iPad 9.7" - Black (Gen 5 & Gen 6) by Jason Fanney

Works well but has flaws

I have had several Zagg keyboards in the past. This model lacks the quality I've come to expect from Zagg. The iPad fits snugly on the device, but when open, the hinges are positioned so that the lid actually lifts the keyboard. This makes the keyboard unstable and "jumps" when typing. The edge of the lid is also made of slippery plastic and the device slips off when used on a hard surface (table, counter, etc.). It should have a rubberized surface that will hold the device in place. The unit also didn't come with instructions so I had to search the internet to find out what the keys do because they are NOT the same as the Zagg keyboards I've used in the past. After discovering the keyboard instructions online, I was able to make better use of the keyboard's functions. While the keyboard works overall, it lacks some practical features and useful aspects that could easily make it much better. I would recommend Zagg to go back to the drawing board and fix the bugs! I was disappointed in the product for the price it is sold for!

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
