This item is disposable!

I used this protective liner for about 3 months under a 12’ x 33” pool. It works pretty well, it does it’s job, it won’t let weeds grow through the pool floor. It is most definitely not padding, you can still feel bumps but overall is pretty good. It does however have a kind of a major flaw. It’s kind of disposable. If you put away your above ground pool for the fall and winter, when you remove the liner it has all kinds of bugs underneath. Impossible to clean, I ended up throwing it away.

Pros
  • Perfect for our pool
Cons
  • Not as thick as I expected, very flimsy. Hard to keep in place while trying to put it under the pool.

Perfect size on my review.

I bought one for the new 18' pool i was installing. I was somewhat concerned about buying a good liner. This liner is very tough it was round so it fit inside the pool with more than enough material to cover the curbs and up the side of the pool wall. Smoothed out nicely. Feel so good about this liner.

Pros
  • Great insurance against punctures. I recommend this pad if your setting up a pool
Cons
  • It is like felt. Not worth the money! Could have gone to the fabric store and got felt and made my own

Not the same thing that arrived last year.

M'kay. Last year I ordered a Liner Life pad. It was fairly thick and though it looked moldy and gross by the end of the summer, we knew it was just a one-season purchase. It's no longer available, so I ordered this Rhino Pad.A thinner, black pad arrived instead of the white one pictured. It's ok, but not as good as the white Liner Life pad. As stated - it's thinner. And we already notice a difference in water temperature. Last year the pool never got over 86 F even if it was 105 out. After just

Pros
  • As afvertised
Cons
  • 2 weeks later weeds busted through new liner.

Works well good for me

Works exactly as described. I can still feel the bumps in the sand beneath the liner but I didn’t expect it to serve as a cushion just a barrier.

Pros
  • PROTECT YOUR LINER - This pool liner pad is made from a special cloth fiber that is thick and durable. Defend your liner against cuts and punctures from rocks, roots, glass and other harmful debris found on the ground. It will provide a flat base that gives an extra layer of armor for your swimming pool floor bottom prior to liner installation.
Cons
  • May not be as aesthetically pleasing as other pool liner options

Item was true to description 👍

Item looked exactly as advertised. Size is correct (15’x 30’ oval) and installation was easy - My 10 year old helped me. There is a seam straight down the middle but it is well done (see picture). Item spread out smoothly and evenly. There are no defects or tears and the merchandise is exactly what I expected to receive from the seller’s description.I will update later on durability if it does not meet my expectations. For now, I’ve rigorously swept a few leaves, grass debris, and sand off of…

Pros
  • Parts & Accessories
Cons
  • May not provide enough insulation for colder climates

Rather thin but works

Product was rather thin but so far it has served it purpose. We used a tarp then placed the liner on top then placed the pool on top of that. Did not use sand for the bottom. Worked percect

Pros
  • Great product easy to lay down
Cons
  • The installation process can be time-consuming

Just as expected. - my new review

Picture didn't match product. I had looked up Rhino pad already so knew it was black in color. Laid it out over some rubber pads put up the pool on it and went swimming the second day.

Pros
  • Increases safety by adding an extra layer of protection between your pool and the ground
Cons
  • Can create an unsightly bumpy appearance on the pool bottom

Not what I expected

I bought this for under our pool. I thought it was going to be plastic or faux leather so the water and dirt wouldn’t be so hard to get off. Other than that it was thick and sturdy enough.

Pros
  • Protects your above ground pool with ease and convenience
Cons
  • Can be noisy when people walk or play on the pool surface

Cushion for bottom of 18 foot round Pool

This product was very reasonable with exceptional quality I would definitely urchase it again and again if needed. It’s a thin cloth not a pad!

Pros
  • Just what I needed
Cons
  • It’s a thin cloth not a pad

Pool Bottom Nice to Walk On

This is good to have to make your pool bottom nice to walk on and protect the liner from roots or stones. I don't think these were available when we originally installed our pool several years ago. We walked on the nasty debris then.

Pros
  • This pad made the liner install pretty easy. It was easy to get wrinkles out of bottom.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with saltwater pools

Felt blanket not any kind of foam padding

I expected there to be some sort of foam padding when the product is described as a rhino pad, but it isnt any kind of cushioning but instead a felt material, that left me wondering

Pros
  • This was cut perfect, good quality material, easy to install, laid down nice. Worth the $
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain pool cleaners or treatments

That they lie to sale the product

I use it for my above ground pool it said that it was durable and weedswill penetrad and it did weed went all the way in to my pool

Pros
  • Arrived quickly and just as described. Easy to install.
Cons
  • May not be able to withstand extreme temperatures or weather conditions

Works as intended.: my feedback

We placed this on top of foam board and a cement pad, and under our pool. We tried to cut a corner with sharp rocks and sticks ! We couldn't! But it cuts easily with scissors. Reminds me of fuzzy tyvek! LOL

Pros
  • Protects the integrity of your pool's liner, prolonging its lifespan
Cons
  • May not provide adequate grip for foot traffic on the pool surface

Great Product: my feedback

The first time I installed my pool liner, I did not use one of these pads. I had real trouble with spreading the liner out without making 'divots' in the sand. When I went to replace my liner, I was surprised at how much 'life' had managed to take hold under my liner. Branches, roots, algae, mold, all were in abundance. Some of it was attached to my liner, making it nearly impossible to remove.I don't know yet if this pad will help keep stuff from attacking my new liner; this is my first. But I

Pros
  • Provides peace of mind knowing that your pool is protected from common hazards
Cons
  • Can create a musty or moldy smell in the pool area over time

Reliable product and easy to install

This was very easy to work with and cut perfectly smooth I had read many reviews before purchasing and people said it was way too thin. However the material is meant to stop anything such as rocks or roots from coming through the pools liner. The product won’t feel like you’re walking on memory foam but it certainly does its job. We put it up under a 16 x 10 x 4’ deep Above ground pool and it has been working perfectly and we have three children and two adults who work in it daily. Very very…

Pros
  • ECO-FRIENDLY AND DURABLE – Made of strong earthy woven material, the liner shield is a resilient geotextile fabric composed of 45% post consumer and 45% industrial recycled material that permits moisture to safely pass through. It may resemble felt with its ⅛ of an inch thickness, but the performance is beyond exceptional in protecting your investment.
Cons
  • May not adhere evenly to the pool bottom, creating areas of uneven protection

Disappointed for my opinion

It fit great however, we were under the impression that this would be softer and thicker (hense Rhino PAD). It was no more than black weed stoppers for a garden sewn together, very thin and rips easily.

Pros
  • Nice and thick.
Cons
  • May require extra materials or tools for installation

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I should have used this the first time I set up the pool.

Easy to use and install, good value for the money, a good investment in preventing punctures through the bottom of your pool. Can't really speak to the durability yet, has only been in place for 4 months, but the exposed parts around the pool show little or no wear. I actually have 2 under the bottom of my pool.

Pros
  • Great
Cons
  • The eco-friendly aspect may not be a significant selling point for all consumers

Used as an alternate to sand

We skipped the sand and put this down. It isn't the easiest to put down. It basically feels like a huge piece of felt. Ever try to smooth felt with fold lines in it? It took some time, but it is way smoother and softer than sand for our pool.

Pros
  • Rhino Pad
Cons
  • May not be as thick as other pool liner pads on the market

Great Product in my review

This is not the first time I have ordered this product. It is wonderful for under my inter pool. Truly saves it from being ripped and torn in the bottom from both rocks and my many grandkids.

Pros
  • Got my product in 2 days and just what we needed. Thank you Walmart
Cons
  • Can be slippery when wet, creating a safety hazard

Definitley not the size it says it is

Although I knew it would be thin, I had no idea it would be way too small. We were a good half foot short on two sides of our 27 foot pool. If you purchase this, make sure you go a bigger size as this is like one of those shirts you buy from China that you think is going to fit and doesn't because it was made for a barbie! It was also very unevenly sewn which contributed even more to the misfit. Very disappointing.

Pros
  • Durable construction ensures long-lasting performance
Cons
  • Can be easily damaged by pets or animals that enter the pool area
