I was concerned about ordering the blocks from Amazon as it's a bit difficult to avoid issues with toxins, diameter and texture but they are PERFECT. The company warns on all packaging that they are not safe for children under the age of 3. Well, from the mouth of a mother bear with OCD, your one-year-old can safely play with them, even when they're unsupervised. All blocks behind. 3 inch, angles make it impossible for your kids to be inhaled. The surfaces are smooth and sanded, it's all natural wood with no polishing, it just has a natural smell.
