Suitable for storing coffee in the fridge. Used both for cold brewing, which doesn't really utilize the temperature capabilities of glass, and for steaming hot coffee straight from the pan. I've had issues with gaskets in lids falling out, but I still seem to seal well without them. I have just ordered a third set after giving away or throwing away the first two sets when moving house. I broke the bottles by dropping them on the stone floor, but even stainless steel could get a noticeable dent if dropped from the same height when filled with liquid.
