I have an 18 year old cat that has arthritis in her hind legs. To make his life more comfortable, I have special steps in different places he likes to go. I have a thick foam wedge (part of a large toddler playmat but I bought it for my cats) that I slide where my cat wants to go. I was concerned the material might be too slippery for my older kitten. I was thinking about how to get this wedge to work when the thought of buying masking tape struck me. I wasn't sure how wide I would need it, so I decided to use 2 inch wide tape thinking I could cut it in half. 1. At the bottom of the wedge is the usual width. The strips above were cut in half. They stick very well! It works for our needs! My boy used a wedge to get to the spot on the cat climber as shown in the picture. Ribbon - such a simple thing - helped my kitten so much. The stripes give his rickety walk support. That pleases and calms me. I'm going to look around the house now to see where else this tape can help. so good for my needs thank you!
