I am helping my sister renovate her kitchen/dining room/common room. It has dark wood cabinets and black countertops that we cannot change. So we decided to create the atmosphere of an industrial farmhouse. We use lots of wood, metal and black accents to bring the three spaces together. This fan was a good choice to replace an existing ceiling fan. The wood tone matches the cabinets in the kitchen and the black wire cage matches the other black accents we use throughout the space. The fan itself is good and not too loud. Although, as with any fan, you still notice a little at high frequencies.
