It works but the smell and the size are a little wrong
Update: after the first two nights the smell is gone and the filter has 'shrunk' to fit better. Not quite sure. It does the job because my hygrometer gains weight. But the "new smell" (?) is just awful! I hope it goes away after a few uses. It's also a bit big for Vicks V3100. I had to squeeze it to fit the base but now the tank doesn't sit properly on the base which makes me nervous. Another review cut them in half, which I'll try but still hope the horrible chemical smell goes away!
