OK but does get stuck in curly hair

I don't think there's really anything wrong with this brush, it seems to be made well enough especially for its price but I thought the addition of boar bristles would smooth and it just gets stuck in my mop! This is probably better for people with hair that's already straightened and in need of something pretty whimsical. I've been trying to style my long, medium 3c curly-curly hair (after washing and detangling, of course) and while I've never had the knack of twisting a round brush like a barber, I couldn't even move this one through the Section. . I think it would still be in my hair if I tried to curl it or I would be bald. I had to switch to my old one immediately. Although in poor condition, it works better for me. This is a type of metal/vinyl bristle wheel brush that you typically find in drugstores that has fewer bristles than these. If this type of brush doesn't give you enough tension, this one might work for you. I suspect the synthetic bristles, for example, are a bit grippier and spiky than the salon-quality ones, but that's to be expected at the price. It was pretty fun collecting unpredictable stealths with a mysterious little magnet on the end (what else?), maybe I could use it as a tool to get them out of the couch gap.
