That's what you should expect. These are good quality, not mega super soft but nice quality, 100% cotton napkins from India. They got to me exactly as pictured. I like these towels very much. If you've never used cloth napkins before, I highly recommend this. I used them all the time, but something happened and it took me many years to buy them. It's more environmentally friendly, and that's the most important thing. But as far as the cost goes, I've already more than made up for it with what I would have spent on paper towels. I used to use a roll of paper towels every week, now a roll lasts almost a month. Insane savings and less waste for our planet.
