Opinions between "size true" and "small" seem about evenly divided, so I took a chance and went for a medium size . For reference, I'm 5ft 6in, size 6/28 and weigh 135-140 pounds. I'm not a hippie, but I have muscular thighs and calves. Wednesday was a bit short but my ass looked great! However, the belt had little to no stretch and it took me some effort to get over my non-hippie hips and it was a little tight on my waist. So I swapped them for bigger ones. Bigger is bigger, they don't make my ass that cute, but they are more comfortable! I really wanted them to just fool around so I'm going to stay big. Not so cute but super comfy. And yet the fabric of these things is so, SO soft! Update: I washed and dried them. While they're not 100% cotton, they've shrunk just enough to not be too big. Now I love her even more!
