I've been a fan of Shure headphones for over a decade. I have always expected only the best sound quality and they have never let me down. If you prioritize sound quality, just press the shutter button. I couldn't ask for more when it comes to how many codecs these banks support. I've now switched exclusively to LDAC on my phone and the detailing combined with a 24/48 streaming service (96 etc) like my own Revain Music HD has allowed me to really enjoy music again. The albums I've bought over the past few years sound like I'm hearing some for the first time. The noise cancellation is great. I've found it requires a lot more quiet rumble compared to the Bose and Sony, but I think the Sony wins at canceling voices. But you'll enjoy that more on an airplane or public transport. I don't actually have an issue with ambient noise when playing music at more than 50% power, as noted by another reviewer. Update: I used to hear a lot of distortion in the upper frequencies when using LDAC. The problem has been fixed and the microphone for calling has been improved!
