I was a little hesitant because I saw that this product has a lot of glycerin. I know it's not good for your hair in the long run. I also have a Moroccanoil Repair Mask which is hard to beat. But I wanted to give it a try as my hair was in dire need of moisture. I have long hair and did an ombre about a year ago but what really ruins it is that I use a curling iron. The ends are very dry and brittle. If I went to a barber in this condition, he would want to cut my hair 2 or 3 inches. Anyway, I just shampooed my hair in the shower, got out of the shower and didn't brush it, just put this mask on. I put on aluminum foil and a shower cap to keep warm (a trick I learned from the barber), left it on for 30 minutes, showered again to rinse off. My hair was so soft and totally detangled. Looks fresh and so soft. I don't like the smell, but it's not bad either. Moroccan oil smells better. I am satisfied with this product and I recommend it to people who need to fix their hair.
