I've been using these cleats for about 5 months. My daughter has to wear her hair in a bun almost every day in dance class. She has very thick and long hair so she needs a lot of bobby pins to keep it in place. They're good for a use or two, then the little plastic guards on the ends start to fall off and when that happens it hurts A LOT! They also bend easily, so when reusing them they need to be squeezed to get them back into shape. If you only use them occasionally they might be fine, but if you need a lot of hair clips and need to use them multiple times I would suggest looking elsewhere.
