Hate is such a strong emotion that you can apply it to an inanimate object, which is why I give it 2 stars. I don't really like it. Detailed review: I bought this keyboard case for my new Microsoft Surface Pro 2017, because i thought it would work the same as the one i use for my macbook pro keyboard case which i bought from another seller a few years ago i have had the mbp for a very long time and it has improved over time, never been detached from the keyboard since i had it in. i carry my laptop with me and sometimes accidentally put it in a bag upside down or on its side.i take the keyboard cover off to clean it and it fits like new molded over the keyboard It's the polar opposite of that 'premium keyboard cover' I've tried using it without tape but I fold my laptop up when I'm not using it and this keyboard stays put not in place. If you never close your Surface Pro, never sit down with a fan, never stand in a draft, then you might like this keyboard case. Maybe you don't mind rearranging the keyboard cover over and over again. I don't mind that, so I put double-sided tape on the ESC, Delete, Ctrl, and Space keys to hold them in place. It works, but to be honest it's not aesthetically pleasing as I can see the tape through the covers on these buttons. According to the packaging, they recommend removing and washing it with a neutral detergent once a week. I think I'll have to buy more double sided tape if I decide to remove the cover for cleaning. I have a feeling this won't happen once a week. If this keyboard cover needs replacing I would try a different cover from a different brand.
