Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Azulle Lynk: The Ultimate Multifunctional Remote Control for Windows - Wireless Mouse Touchpad, Backlit Keyboard, Mic by Ryan Lawrence

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far so good at the beginning. Continue reading Part 2 for publication.

********** Update to newest *********** Just received yesterday. Programmed and everything worked. Turn the TV on/off. Turning my receiver on/off, muting and a few inputs on the IR side. I love how the IR learn button toggles between IR and 2.4GHz. The remote works well and the buttons have a distinct click. The keyboard is well backlit, and like most other cheaper remotes that only illuminate letters and no symbols, this one illuminates everything. I've never understood why some designers only make letters. This basically makes the remote useless in the dark. Will you never use symbols and numbers in the dark? On cheaper remote controls, letters and numbers start to wear out within 2 months. How handy to see that the return window is 30 days. Let's see what this one does, but as it stands, it's looking a lot better. The only issue I had was that the home button didn't bring you home on the Nvidia Shield. So I downloaded "Button Matcher" from the Nvidia App Store and it worked. I didn't know this app existed. I will use it for some other modifications. :) It was significantly more expensive than the cheaper models, but so far it feels like a "you get what you pay for" situation. Cheaper remotes immediately felt cheap in the hand even though they worked. I'll be back with an update in a few months on whether the letters wear out or not. ************* ****************** I bought this on May 12, 2020 and it is now April 18, 2021 And as and expected , the inscription is erased. Someday I'll find a remote made the way it's supposed to be. They wear out due to poor case design. I chose a different model with a fully backlit keyboard and 5 front learning buttons so you don't have to toggle between remote and IR like this unit. It was a good idea, but time will always tell how good the machine is or not. Not sure if the hulls are just poor design or if they need wear and tear.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • For old
