This thing is amazing. I wondered if I would find it useful as a PA but bought it for practice. However, I soon found myself using it in smaller venues. Put it on a stand directly behind you (for solo players) and it will perform almost as well as the Bose L1 Compact. The L1 Compact definitely has great bass response and volume, while the S1's bass response is mediocre (easily clipped). But factor in REVERB's size, ease of use, and addition, and you've got a winner.
