I have type 4a hair and have been natural for over 1 year. This product comes in a HUGE jar so I can see it lasts MONTHS no matter how often you wash your hair or what your hair type is. I think it's worth the price. This is a very heavy mask and has everything you need in a hair mask: protein, moisture, oils and more. This jam is packed. It's thick and smells good. It makes my curls LOVED and I feel my hair is stronger after using it. I usually use it before and after a protective styling because it prepares the hair for possible tension, breakage or damage and throws the hair back. I'm not sure how it will perform on colored hair but I'm sure it will be perfect. Overall this is one of my favorites. Great ingredients and price.
