I like the palette that comes with the kit. I got the paint set because I paint rocks to decorate my planters with, but the palette is amazing. It offers a lot of space for mixing colors. These colors have a good consistency right out of the tube and are easy to mix. White and black are the same size as the others. I really like them to be bigger, but most kits don't offer that. I need to take more white and new users might think about it. I love working with oils, but I love how quick they dry and how easy they wash off. They have hinged lids. I noticed while cleaning today that some of mine didn't close even though I thought they did, so watch your hats. They are cleaned with water only. There are enough base colors here so I can mix any shade or color I want. This is a good sentence. I enjoy.)
