I couldn't decide between the XXL Bogi or the XL Hoeaas, so I ordered both. Here's what I found:Advantages of Bogi:1. Dimensions of the large towel. Both are the same length, ( 182 cm or 72 in long, plenty long for laying out or wrapping around you), but Bogi is quite a bit narrower. Trying them both out, I don't think even larger adults would need the extra width of the XXL Hoeaas, and one purpose of the product is to save space.2. Feel. Bogi feels "fuzzier". I don't know if it's actually any thicker, but the nap feels fuller; it's just cozier to cuddle with, and the Hoeaas feels more like a piece of plastic when dry.3. Bulk. In part because it's narrower, and in part because you have to wind it tighter, when packed in its bag the Bogi XL is quite a bit smaller than the Hoeaas XXL. (Both packed bags are cylinders about 10 inches long, but the Bogi is 3.5 in diameter vs 4 in diameter for the Hoeaas: that's a 30% difference in volume.)4. Weight. My Bogi is 12.0 oz (both towels + bag + carabiner). My Hoeaas is 14.4 oz (both towels + bag).Advantages of Hoeaas:1. Bag. The main advantage of the Hoeaas is the bag. The Hoeaas material seems much higher quality and more durable than the Bogi. It feels like it won't come apart (untested). Hoeaas is also more generously sized: it's very easy to get the Hoeaas back in the bag, but the Bogi is a bit more tedious work back into its bag.2. Dimensions of the small towel. Both are about the same area, but I think the rectangular shape of the Hoeaas will be more useful than the square-shaped Bogi.I think the Bogi bag design would make it easier to carry than the Hoeaas, but the full-mesh back Hoeaas might dry faster than the Bogi when packed.Stuff that's the Same for Both:Both were exactly the same price when I ordered on ebay; both are the same length; both came with a second little towel; both came with a carrying bag that fits both the large and small towel packed together.Both have almost identical hanging loops on one corner of each towel: (loops are about 6 inches circumference); all loops unsnap (so you can attach to something that's not just a peg); the Bogi's hanging lop is slightly longer, maybe 0.5 inch.When packed (and wet!), both can be clipped to the outside of your stuff. The Bogi can be clipped with its carabiner. The Hoeaas can be connected onto things with the clip that closes the bag.
