So technically it works and offers the promised connections (I specifically use USB Type-B, USB Type-C and HDMI). At the same time, product images are misleading. I looked at the second image of the product with the connectors explained and it has HDMI and Type-C power connectors to the right of the hub (seen from above the connection cable is on top as in the image). In fact, the hub is mirrored and these slots are on the left side. Aside from the corner connection to the computer, this is a key difference - if you place the PF Hub as in the 2nd product image (to the right of your device), your HDMI cable will go to the left, so straight to your computer/iPad. And the hub isn't vertically symmetrical, meaning it has a see-through bottom with rubber bumpers, you just can't flip it. The second issue is that it gets pretty hot when in use. Running on laptop power (not from an external source) will drain the battery. Finally, it also shuts down for a few seconds when the external power fails, so everything is paused.
