Good for diving and snorkeling

Size down is a good idea if you intend to swim in it. I use this for rowing and bought the size listed in the chart which gave me more freedom of movement. This works great over a rashguard - when it's windy you can close it, when it's warmer you can open it and it's out of the way. It's very easy. I wish it had a small pocket.
