My 2.5 year old daughter loves these sneakers! We went for a toddler 7 size and it seems comfortable to walk in as usual. Other Simple Joys slippers fit her a little better. She's been wearing them over her sandals since we got them. The Velcro can be easily undone and pushed through with your baby's hands. The rubber bottom prevents slipping, especially on rainy days in South Florida. A little sparkle on light gray is very girly and goes with almost any outfit. I have one very minor complaint: the white elastic around the toes has a crease/indentation where it meets the gray elastic before it's sewn to the fabric. This allows dirt to accumulate and creates a very distinct dark brown/black outline. This does not affect the functionality of the shoe, only the aesthetics.
