Our 15 year old GE Side by Side needs a bit of work. This is our second WR51X10055 heater that I replaced. The bottom of the freezer will start to freeze, open the back and all the coils will freeze. The first purchase was made less than a year ago from a different seller (Blue Stars 180 Days Guarantee), so this time we made a conscious decision to go with a different manufacturer, hoping it would last longer. The replacement is not very difficult and there are videos on YouTube showing the exact steps. This has been running for over a month now. Much cheaper than buying a new fridge or going in for service. Hope it lasts longer than the first! The description says 1 year warranty. If I have to change annually, I will do that.
