I advise you to order a size (or two) down if you plan to wear this with your child. I have a 5 year old grandson and I bought a size 5 and I'm sure it will fit my 8 year old granddaughter. Otherwise this is a very nice coat. The heavier side is for colder winters and the ribbing on the sleeves and hood are well finished. Overall this is excellent value for money. Just trust me when I say it works MORE than expected.
