also useful with a full face helmet

Although I always wear a full face helmet when riding, my HJC CL-17 helmet just doesn't have a quality chin bar to go with it. As a result, insects and debris under the chin of the helmet would sometimes hit my face while riding. I also check my surroundings very often while driving, especially when changing lanes. All I have to do is turn my head and the wind squeezes the helmet's vents and blows the air hard in my eyes. I have these and they definitely help! Since they are sold as a set with different shades, this gives me the option of not swapping helmet visors. I put a clear visor on my helmet when I commute to work and then swap it out for a tinted visor when I commute home after work. Now I only wear clear glasses or a tinted visor when driving in the dark, and when I drive to work I just leave the clear visor on and wear tinted glasses on the way home. They put pressure on your eye sockets, but there are slits in the material that rests against the skin of the lens frames, so some air gets into your eyes, but not much. I'm much more comfortable on long tours wearing them under a helmet. On long drives, my eyes would either dry out or become irritated and/or watery (I say and/or because I stopped while driving and one eye was dry and the other watery). The benefits of wearing them whether you wear a half helmet, three quarter helmet or no helmet are obvious, but I wanted to share my experience so others know it helps even if you wear a full helmet with the visor down.
