Four grandkids love them. Two of them usually have several of them in their pockets. Disconnecting is oddly satisfying and adds to the experience. The colors are bright and cheerful. Use them as tanagrams on a flat surface or create 3D boxes and towers perfect for Matchbox cars. Little hands get a little frustrated trying to carry their creation from place to place, magnets tend to fold and destruction is instantaneous. I thought I was done with that, but a year later I'm buying another set of 180 pieces. I bought a storage box for padlocks and locks to put in a separate box for plastic parts for cars and ferris wheels. This works very well. I would skip the ferris wheel kit and stick with the basics. It's all they ever play with, but they play with it a lot
