After 10 months of use and cleaning on every charge these blades suddenly became all but useless for trimming the hair on my beard especially under me the nose and under the lips. After disassembling everything as much as possible, I found that the problem was that normal cleaning was not enough to clean the two edge knives, both of which stopped working. Since these blades cannot be removed from the blade unit for cleaning, I had to spend an hour using the tiny blade to scrape all the hair and debris out of them, finally freeing them enough to get them working again. After putting the head and razor together I was confident that the problem was at least temporarily solved. rely on working at all without spending too much time cleaning them enough to even work. My next razor will have blades that are removable for easy cleaning, even if that means I'll have to settle for 3 or 4 blades instead of 5.
