Earrings are cute and inexpensive, but they are not stainless steel and are not hypoallergenic. I don't have very sensitive ears and often wear crappy alloy earrings, but I needed a pair (or 45) for extended wear. Stainless steel is perfect for this. However, they turned green and started irritating my skin after 24 hours (the ones I put on first were a pair of pink butterflies, I can't verify now if they are all monkey metal, but this pair is definitely metal). They're useless for their intended purpose, but I'll probably wear some of them for fun.
