Review on VOKING VK750 Manual LCD Flash Speedlite: Universal Compatibility with Nikon, Pentax, Panasonic, Olympus, Fujifilm DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras by Luca Washington

Surprisingly good manual flash!

Really wasn't expecting this as Canon/Nikon equivalents cost a few hundred dollars but this flash actually works well. It was solid, reliable and the batteries lasted a long time. I'd say it's about as good as the Yongnuo Blitzes, which cost almost twice as much. The flash has GN 58 and settings from 1/128 to full (1/1) power in one stop increments. It's fairly fully articulated (compared to most of its competitors). I've used it for a couple of real estate shoots and it has worked well. However, I don't use Flash, so I'm not an expert. It works fine for my needs. Please note that this is a MANUAL flash setting and DOES NOT USE TTL. It can only be triggered via the camera's hot shoe (or remote shutter release). Well, you can manually press the flash button, it will probably only be useful when taking long exposure photos to draw light (which I have no experience with). For whatever I am, I would highly recommend this flash.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
