Elastic too tight but worked

I use this on my Jenny Lind changing table which uses a cradle sized pillow instead of the new contoured pillows. My pad is only 1 inch thick and I found the elastic on this sheet to be too tight causing the pad to pucker. My solution was to cut the rubber band all the way around every few inches. Now it fits perfectly.
