This allows me to connect a single USB-C cable to my MacBook Air (M1) and it does it all with ease - charging, external display via USB-C or HDMI, wired Ethernet, 15+ ( ! ) additional USB devices (I have 2 additional USB 3.0 hubs downstream), which is impressive since one of these devices is a professional 32 channel audio interface. There have never been crashes, loss of sound in multi-channel recordings or anything like that. To be honest I'm really impressed considering how much I'm taxing it doesn't even get very hot and I forget it even has it which is the best I can think of from a USB-C Hub can wish. Also a very nice aluminum design to match the MacBook Space Gray. A+.
