Review on 🏃 Nathan Hydration Insulated TrailMix Plus Running Belt Review – Adjustable Belt with 2 Insulated Bottles and Storage Pockets by Aaron Lewis

Bought a new Trail Mix Plus running belt to replace my existing Trail Mix. The new design has a smaller capacity and cheaper materials. I owned an old belt for about two years that didn't fail (black belt in photos). I run an average of 5-6 days a week, covering about 50 miles or more. I walk my dog on the streets and trails. We have a collapsible dog bowl, my cell phone, tissues and car keys. I decided to replace my belt as it was starting to look worn out. Nathan no longer offers an exact replacement, so I purchased a newer and "updated" version. I received it in September 2020 and it failed today six months later in February 2021. See attached photos. The elastic band holding the bottle has snapped on the left, and the right is about to snap as well. The new design elastic bands are much smaller compared to my old band, both in width and thickness. I was also disappointed with the size of the storage bag. It barely holds my iPhone 10, and the collapsible dog bowl that fits easily on another belt doesn't fit in this case without deforming. Luckily the cloths are thin, but my car key no longer fits. Overall, Nathan produced a lower quality product than his earlier designs. Its quality is much worse and the reduction in packet size is disappointing. That being said, Nathan's customer service will replace the belt under warranty and it was very easy to deal with.
