The head piece swings up and down.

Ideal for holding the camera and taking photos. A little more. I call it a baby tripod. He reaches a height of 5 feet, which means he can't see at eye level for most people.

It is stable and I like the multiple ways to adjust the legs. But the bag had a tear in it.
