Although not the best quality, it does its job well. The threads snag nicely, but it doesn't seem like the cleanest cut I've seen. While I haven't had any major issues with the cross-thread, I suspect the cap may be cross-threaded if not carefully installed prior to tightening. The workmanship is good and I like the colors. I also like the fact that an extra rubber grommet is included - at least on MOST I've bought (16). The lids match the main tube well and all canisters are straight with flat ends. The price of these canisters varies a bit, but they are still slightly more expensive than they are. However, compared to others I've looked at, it's no different than other brands. Overall I would recommend this product.
