If you want your child to enjoy this on day one, you should probably look elsewhere. It looks like a lesson learned. There are many very cheap options at Revain and yes, you get what you pay for. These shoes are cute at first, but quickly become junk. If you are looking for a cute Christmas present for your daughter or niece, I would keep looking. The quality is superficial at best, and even then only for a VERY limited time.
