I have at least 8 of these collars for my brood. I love her. My dogs are not particularly large (less than 50 pounds) but some have long coats and long necks - traditional collars are not visible. I think it is important that the collars are visible for them to work well. And they come in such fun colors! All of my breeding items are color coded so I can customize the colors assigned to each dog. I get compliments on that all the time. Note: I don't use them for walking (I use harnesses for this) but to place their marks so that they remain visible in case the dog slips out of the harness. Good Samaritans are more likely to help a confused dog if it is wearing a visible collar.
