I checked with Pyle as the sales literature says the switches are blue but the pictures show red. They are actually red. I was a little concerned that the switch glow would be too strong judging by the photos, but they fitted. Not dark, not light. You can use it in a dark place and it won't be overloaded. This is a properly designed 1U device. The flanges fit snugly into the mounting brackets and holes. If you need a shallow shelf on the shelf, you can use it for this purpose because the integrity of the box is very good. The design is made of thick metal and will not bend. In fact, you can mount the cross with just two (one on each side) mounting screws. and the device will be rock solid reliable. They are not easy to accidentally stumble upon. On the left side of the front panel is a black circuit breaker that's pretty hard to spot. Each switch and corresponding outlet is directly opposite (front to back). This way you can stand in front of the switch and feel the exact position of the socket if necessary. In difficult conditions this can be very useful. The distance between the sockets is reasonable. The power cord of the device is very heavy. Physically the whole device is well constructed, I didn't lie to check the electrical design as I need to install it quickly. No regret.
