I've tried all types of masks and this one worked well for the first few days of use. When I received them, I hand washed them as they had a strange smell and then air dried them. I bought a set for my husband and I to both wear. They fit perfectly on his head and mine. I double it for my nose and mouth so I have two layers to protect me. I know they can be wet but I haven't tried. I love that I can wear it around my neck when I don't need it and just put it back on when I need it. Not sure how much they protect others from Covid but at least I don't get so hot that I can't stand wearing it. and when I'm miserable and sweaty, I don't want to wear it or go anywhere. The only thing that worries me is the lack of a gap to allow you to speak without putting anything in your mouth. Otherwise, this is the best mask for comfort.
