They are very thin which is great. Almost invisible on my Mac screen and works great. The first few times I open and close the lid they require little effort and I had to use my fingernail to move them, but they loosened up pretty quickly and now I just use my fingertip to gently squeeze the lid to move. Although relatively easy to move, they don't move on their own; So don't worry about them opening accidentally.
