If you don't have a work light to show if it's on or not, that should be your first clue that something is wrong. If a TV was plugged in and the TV light flashed red briefly and then came on, then nothing. Rocked and worked for a while. It seemed cheap and not lightweight so I opened it up before throwing it away and NOTHING for the surge protector. It's cheap and doesn't work. As I just noticed, it's an extension cord. I wish I'd looked at the reviews before buying it, but I've never had a problem with Splash. I called and gave it to local TV. People should know surge protector without protection.
