These are good gloves and are actually WATERPROOF not "water repellent" WATERPROOF as advertised online! My hands never got wet! My hands stayed warm and dry in Breckinridge, Colorado in 10 degrees while playing and sledding in the snow. The palm grips worked great and you can definitely use a touchscreen phone, although the thickness of the gloves still makes precise typing or finger maneuvering difficult, but I would just take my glove off if I needed to use my phone. very fast. They're good for the price too. In my experience, that's a win.
