Not very strong, good for floating shelves
These floating shoe racks look great, but the drywall anchors that come with them aren't strong enough or long enough to mount the bracket directly to the wall. You have to buy new anchors that will hold. The shelf is also too flexible. The reviews show 2 shoes, but the weight of the shoes closest to the edge causes the shelf to flex slightly. I've dropped two sneakers before, but this definitely happens more often because the dowels and screws don't tighten. If you look at the photos you can see how they are skewed under the weight of the second boot. Overall it's a cool concept and looks good.
