cool spoons! - Feeding

I am 6 months old and I LOVE these spoons! All my relatives nannies also remarked on how convenient it is. The bowl size of the spoon is good and you can easily control how much you put in each bite. The flat edge of the spatula is very handy for getting rid of the inevitable excess that ends up around baby's mouth. I also really like the little stops built into the spoon for a number of reasons: It's great to keep the bowl of the spoon in a safe place away from the table as there is less mess and you don't have to worry about it as much Table need to make sterile. is; it doesn't make it difficult to hold or use; and my baby also likes to try to hold the spoon and help me put it in his mouth and at least for now these bumps prevent him from sliding his fingers down the spoon handle and into the spoon bowl, like that he gets less food on his hands when he's holding a spoon (although of course he gets a lot of food on his hands if he then puts his hands in his mouth before chewing! oh kids.) It annoys me a little that here some people complain that the rest of them get food too so the table still gets dirty because firstly I think it's more about keeping the spoon clean while eating (especially when going somewhere) than keeping the table clean and anyway, I'd rather have little blobs of leftover food than put a whole spoonful on the table, so I think it's worth it anyway. In response to some other reviews, this part sure is highly individual, but we didn't find them to sit in the baby food bowl for too long. Outside He really likes to take a spoon and put it in his mouth and he tries to chew on the spoon and it hasn't made him choke yet. had to change bottle brands quite often to finally find nipples that weren't too long/deep for his mouth as regular Medela nipples made him vomit. Again, I'm sure it's entirely up to the child, but we haven't had any problems with that. I've had them for over a month now and still haven't had the peeling issues some reviewers have. mentioned but I'll try to remember to update this review if that happens to us too.
