Too loose to hold spool of thread on Singer spindle
They have been described as a replacement for the spool of thread on the Singer sewing machine to prevent the spools of thread from breaking during the machine is running. The holes are too big, they won't stay on the spindle and they won't hold the spool in place. In other words, it's useless.
