Review on PG Cabin Air Filter PC9938: The Perfect Fit for 2014-20 Mitsubishi Mirage & 2015-20 Dodge Attitude by Carlos Henley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Suitable for Mitsubishi Mirage

I was asked to write a review on this product. I can't give it 5 stars because I just installed it, I'll give it 4 right away because it was very difficult to find filters that fit this machine. Even my gas station had the wrong part number for it. Revain's auto filter gave me the wrong size before. What you need is very small, 7x7x3/4". Here it is. There are cheaper offers, I went with this one because of the electrostatic layer and the carbon layer. For people who have complained that it is too porous i can say oven filters you can get filters that are dense enough to filter everything but they also block airflow i also use a charcoal filter in my oven ) and other stuff you don't want to breathe in thought i a charcoal filter would be worth the extra money it means it lets more air through but traps particles they stick to it instead of getting through hopefully this helps someone the key is to change it regularly like any filter a hundred Is it better to breathe clean air? This is for me Changing filters every 6 months only costs $1 more If you live in a smoky city and drive a lot, you might want to change more often The only downside to activated carbon filters is that they always look black, so how do you know if they're dirty? At home I use a Nordic Pure activated carbon filter, just change it every few months, once a month in the summer when the air conditioning is on and in January when the heating is on all the time.
