Perfect fit and genuine part. Clips immediately upon pressing the bar it sits on. It is not necessary to create tools. You may have to unclip the clip to remove the old one, but I didn't have to do that on mine as it didn't have a clip when I bought the car and the switch could just slide off. I would watch a video on how to take it off if you need to take it off. Plus, this product simply snaps into place when attaching.
