I was under the impression that Jiminy's Good Grub Insect Protein oven-baked dog food was made from crickets. no Judging by the packaging, it's made from soldier fly larvae. A soldier flies, crickets are six out of a dozen and a half others. The basic idea is good and I want to support it. Is it expensive. I hope the price will go down as it becomes more widely available. My younger dog is a picky eater near my house. He doesn't hate Jiminy's dog food, but he doesn't like it either. If there is anything left to chew, he will eat it in front of Jiminy. On the other hand, big dogs will eat anything and everything, so they're not a good test for Jiminy. I hope that this idea and the company will be successful.
