Review on USB-C to DisplayPort Adapter Supporting 8K 60Hz - Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 / Thunderbolt 3 Compatible with MacBook Pro, Dell XPS - Cable Matters by Jason Maciel

I bought it over a year ago, serial number J3QE6K16. Maybe the newer versions work better? When I connect it to my Dell 2415Q 24" 4k monitor and 2019 MacBook Pro 13" it works intermittently. Had a similar issue with an earlier MacBook Pro. UPDATE: I tried CableCreation's adapter today and it works great. Also, I bought an Answin cable, mini display port direct to USB-C, no adapter and it worked fine too. From this I conclude that this Cable Matters adapter is defective. Judging by other reviews it suits some people but not others. I have purchased other Cable Matters cables and have had good results, so this particular product seems unusual to you. I continue to believe this is a reliable brand.
