Too heavy for a young rider
I was surprised by the number of 5 star reviews on this bike. This bike is too heavy for a young rider. The 14 inch bike was 75% of my average 4 year old's weight and I was concerned that if this bike lands on him while he's learning to ride he might get hurt. The bike also means that he found it difficult to start the bike without assistance. Weight aside, this is a sturdy and beautiful bike, but for just a bit more we can buy a quality aluminum frame. Bike at our local bike shop.
