Review on ⚡ PowMr 48PCS M-C-4 IP67 Solar Connectors - Male/Female Solar Connectors (24 Pairs) by Mike Diaz

A pair of elastic plastic mounts break easily. I broke a few of them just assembling the connectors right out of the box and I didn't even handle them roughly. I'm sure they wouldn't stand up to repeated use in the field. I bought these plugs from this company because the delivery time was short and I was short on time. I wish I had waited and bought Renogy MC4 connectors - I have a few of these and they are much better quality. An additional problem with these is that the seal that compresses around the wire when you tighten the caps isn't as tight. I used 10 AWG wire, which is a large diameter. The gasket on these terminals barely pushed around this wire when the screw cap was fully screwed on. If I had used a smaller wire the seal would not be tight and water could leak out. And remember, the main reason for using MC4 connectors is water resistance! When I compared my Renogy MC4 connectors, the Renogy still had a few turns left on the caps when they were pressed tightly around a 12 AWG wire I was using in another application. I would definitely not buy them again. Of course, there are much better alternatives for almost the same price.
